During my time as a Graphic Design Intern at GetGo, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. One particular project stood out because it was a major undertaking where I was given the freedom to experiment and try out unconventional ideas, often outside the usual brand guidelines.

The initial brief from stakeholders was to create a "rock" aesthetic, but without using skulls. After the initial key visual reviews, I knew I wanted to center the visual around the feeling and imagery of attending a rock concert and the experience of enjoying rock music. Deep diving into Pinterest, Cosmos, and various external media led me to my creative solution.

Drawing inspiration from the rock and roll era of the 2000s, I envisioned leather jackets with patchwork designs, the bold and vibrant colors characteristic of fused rock and pop aesthetics, rough textures and finally, a significant influence from the movie "The School of Rock."
